She contributes to the excellence of our literary world and the promotion of culture in Canada. Thanks to this remarkable woman, the works of many of English Canada's greatest novelists have been translated and published in French, mainly through the "Collection des Deux Solitudes," which she founded and directed. She is known for her determination to establish closer ties between the cultural worlds of the two linguistic communities and for her deep affection for her country. She is also known for her dedication to various community organizations, such as governor of Portage, an organization devoted to the treatment of substance abuse, and the Société Pro Musica. This is a promotion within the Order.
