The tower represents the work of the Corrections Division, and the balance refers to the idea of justice. The outer elements of the maple leaves, prairie crocuses, the arms of Manitoba, and the Royal Crown indicate that the Corrections Division works within the context of Canadian and Manitoba law under the authority of the Crown. The Latin phrase meaning “Safety Justice Respect” encapsulates the principles behind the work of the Corrections Division. |
