Governor General Mary Simon participated in the unveiling of a heraldic badge granted to the Rainbow Veterans of Canada (RVC) by the Canadian Heraldic Authority.
She attended both as head of the Canadian Heraldic Authority and as commander-in-chief. In this latter role, she recognized the contributions of Canadian Armed Forces veterans.
