Royal Assent Ceremony

The Administrator of the Government of Canada granted Royal Assent by written declaration for the following legislation:

  • An Act to amend the Canada Revenue Agency Act (organ and tissue donors) (Bill C-210)
  • An Act to amend the Citizenship Act (Truth and Reconciliation Commissionof Canada's call to action number 94) (Bill C-8)
  • An Act respecting the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (Bill C-15)


The small ceremony took place at Rideau Hall while respecting social distancing norms.
