The Governor General addressed students and faculty members from Lakehead University and delivered a presentation. Throughout the day, Her Excellency attended various Special Olympics sporting events to cheer on athletes and see them compete. Before departing, she visited Confederation College's Aviation Centre of Excellence and answered questions from students.
