Visits to Shelters in Ottawa and Gatineau
Following the tornado in Canada's Capital Region, the Governor General visited shelters in Ottawa and Gatineau to show her support to the victims and to thank first responders and volunteers for their outstanding work.
During her visit, she spoke with people who had been displaced and were hard at work in clean-up operations.
