As a former nursing officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, Linda Wright has been volunteering for more than two decades with the Calgary Military Family Resource Centre, and for 15 years with the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping. She has also volunteered as a leader with the Girl Guides of Canada and the Boy Scouts of Canada.
