Leslie Abramson, Delta, British Columbia
Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For over 20 years, Leslie Abramson has worked tirelessly to create opportunities for Delta's youth. She has coached young athletes and served on her local Rotary Club's youth committees. She is a strong advocate for the Boys and Girls Club, and spearheaded a campaign that led to the establishment of facilities in Ladner, South Delta. Mrs. Abramson has also lent her fundraising expertise to a number of non-profit organizations in her community, including the Delta Hospice Foundation.
