Denis Wright has been an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion for the past
23 years, supporting the Poppy Campaign, as an honour guard member and as a participant in the Field of Crosses flag-raising sunrise ceremonies. He also volunteers with the Calgary Military Museum and the Calgary Colonel Belcher Carewest Home, and as a soccer coach.
