A self-assured public speaker and tireless volunteer, Donald Shultz has taken on a variety of causes for the benefit of his fellow citizens. For the past 11 years, he has volunteered with the Canadian Mental Health Association, where he has actively taken part in mental health awareness programs for youth, acted in stand-up comedy shows for charity, and provided peer support to persons with mental illness. He is a strong advocate for affordable housing and financial aid for persons with disabilities, and has participated in many information sessions on issues of accessibility.
