    Over the past fifteen years, Alma Alexander has held a succession of executive posts within the Grenfell Association of Montréal. She was involved in every aspect of the group's successful annual Christmas card campaign to raise funds for needed medical equipment in remote communities of Newfoundland and Labrador. In 1997, Alma Alexander ensured the smooth transferral of the card program to the hospital auxiliary in St. Anthony, Newfoundland, and she continues to advise and support the group.
