Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

Lloyd Williams has worked to improve the quality of life in his community in many ways. He participated in the planning, construction and management of Trinity subsidized housing and was an active member of the local Association for Community Living. He is active on a variety of committees in his church and is co-founder and co-convener of the Breaking Bread Dinner Club, which serves a 'pay-what-you-can' dinner to those in need. Mr. Williams is also vice-chair of Northumberland County Habitat for Humanity.
