Residents of Rockwood know they can call on Peter Watters day or night. He travels to meet and assist persons of all faiths and helps them through marital problems, drug and alcohol addictions and other crises. He has been instrumental in changing, and sometimes saving, the lives of many people on the brink of despair due to their addictions. For many years, he has conducted spirituality classes for women in recovery from chemical dependencies. Father Watters' home is always open to any person seeking shelter, food or comfort, and he has offered unconditional and ongoing support and love to individuals who have been overlooked or shunned by society.
