Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

Edward and Patsy Weatherdon have dedicated time and energy to the youth of their community and have touched the lives of thousands of young adults across Canada. They worked together, he as leader and she as administrator of the local air cadet squadron, for almost two decades. When Mr. Weatherdon became municipal representative for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Program, they formed the Village of Salisbury Duke of Edinburgh Group to help the young adults in the program to achieve their goals. In addition to working together, the Weatherdons are also separately involved in many other community activities.
