Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Carol Watt is a compassionate, caring nurse and has been a dedicated volunteer in the community for the past 17 years. Her time has been freely given to the Waterton Park Community Association, as a founding member of the Green Team Committee, as a member of the Parent-Teacher Association, and to the church auxiliary for local events as well as in a nearby community where her children attend school. As a nurse in a small community 40 minutes from medical aid, she is frequently called upon by local families for advice. She is the person who is always there -- to help organize and participate in community events.
