Gérard Vachon, of New Liskeard, Ontario, has spent many years in the service of his community and parish. He has volunteered with the Club Richelieu Témiskaming for over 35 years, and also created the Festival des Folies Franco-Fun, an annual French-language festival. Within his parish, Mr. Vachon has served as chair of the parish committee and as the church's local representative of Development and Peace for
30 years. The entire community has certainly benefited from Mr. Vachon's loyalty and persistence.
