Jacques Voyer's involvement in the community has always been remarkable. He has dedicated himself to Fermont's youth and has come up with endless innovative activities to reach his fellow citizens, including soapbox derbies, snow tubing and bicycle races. He joined the Optimist club in the early 1990s and has always led its fundraising campaigns. His leadership skills and his desire to delight children have allowed the organization to stay the course and to remain viable, despite all the difficulties it has faced over the years.
