Mary Wartnow has been a pillar of her church and community for many years. She has given care to newcomers to Canada, particularly refugees, and shown compassion for people in times of loss and need. A longtime volunteer with Meals-on-Wheels, Mary Wartnow has volunteered many hours with the Deltassist Community Services for more than a decade by helping at the local food bank, locating furniture for those in need, and distributing toys to children at Christmas.
