    A dialysis patient at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Anne Sexton Dobby was an effective chair of the Patients' Committee for twelve years and also represented patients' interests as Vice-Chair of the Hospital's board of directors. She was a long-time advisor to the Association générale des insuffisants rénaux du Québec. Mrs. Sexton Dobby continues to advise and advocate on behalf of renal patients and volunteers to assist in fundraising for the Royal Victoria's Kidney Fund.
