Marie Wetmore has been volunteering with Girl Guides of Canada since 1980, as a Brownie leader, district commissioner, area commissioner, provincial commissioner and deputy chief commissioner. From coordinating fundraising efforts to purchase both the Guide House in 2004 and the local area's campsite, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to Guiding and is not afraid to take on new challenges.
