Frank Tierney’s volunteer efforts with The Ottawa Hospital began with the campaign to raise $3.5 million to bring the Cyberknife to the Cancer Centre. He later co-chaired the effort to raise $3 million to build and equip a new dermatology centre. He has also served on the board of directors of the Brain Injury Association of the Ottawa Valley and chaired their fundraising committee, which raised more than $500,000 for St. Patrick’s Home.
