Gail Asper infuses every community-building enterprise she undertakes with vision, determination and enthusiasm. A renowned volunteer, arts advocate and fundraiser, she has made outstanding contributions to cultural and charitable organizations at the local, provincial and national levels. She holds positions as a director of CanWest Global Communications and president of the CanWest Global Foundation as well as being the president of the Asper Foundation. It is in that capacity that she has tirelessly championed the establishment of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, which will showcase our nation's commitment to recognizing, promoting and celebrating human rights.
