For over 40 years, she has shown the highest level of community leadership with her untiring work and selfless dedication. She spearheaded the expansion of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to its current status as a respected national resource for women. During her tenure as President of the organization, she advanced breast cancer research, diagnosis and treatment options. Equally involved with children's mental health issues, she has been active with the Hincks Dellcrest Centre and Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children.
