A devoted career public servant, he contributed for some 35 years to his province and his country. He served with distinction provincially as Deputy Minister of Finance and Deputy Provincial Treasurer, and also federally as Assistant Deputy Minister to the Solicitor General and Economic Development Coordinator. An effective and trusted advisor to successive political leaders, he consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism and a commitment to good government.
