A creative producer and director, she has made an outstanding contribution to the performing arts in Canada and to the cultural heritage of the Canadian Jewish community. Founder of the Yiddish Theatre of Montreal, she has staged many plays, including adaptations of Canadian works, in Yiddish, thereby helping to preserve a rich language and literature.
