A community development worker, Band Councillor and Federation of Saskatchewan Indians senator, he has appealed to his people to recall their past and take responsibility for their destiny. A strong supporter of education, he is also a dedicated field worker, traveling throughout the northern part of the province lecturing on drug and alcohol abuse and Native culture, instilling in the young a sense of pride and purpose.
