This general practitioner from the St. Maurice Valley area has been a builder in the field of sport and recreation for many years. Co-founder and former head of l'École des sports du Cap-de-la-Madeleine, he has assumed, among other positions, the vice-presidency of the Jeux du Québec and was a member of the medical team of the Organizing Committee of the Montreal Olympic Games. His volunteer activities also include work in various social and humanitarian organizations such as the Quebec Heart Foundation.
