Theatrical veteran Gilles Pelletier was an immensely popular actor and director, co-founder and former artistic director of the Nouvelle Compagnie Théatrale. In addition to his work in repertory theatre, he performed brilliantly in plays written by playwrights in Quebec and across the country, as well as in a number of television serials.
