His career has been marked by creativity and a passion for excellence. After directing more than 100 dramas for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, he later went on to feature filmmaking. His widely acclaimed trilogy, Isabel, Act of the Heart, and Journey which he wrote, directed and produced made a distinctive contribution to Canadian cinema. Other films followed and, more recently, he has turned his talents to writing novels. While his accomplishments are numerous, he has never forgotten his ancestral roots and has provided a venue for Gaspé artists through the Almond Art Centre.
