She is renowned for her commitment to community service. For over 20 years, she has devoted her energies to the promotion of cardiovascular health. Her exceptional leadership skills and outstanding ability to raise funds and awareness are hallmarks of her service with both the Manitoba and Canadian Heart and Stroke foundations. Her presidency of both organizations led to several significant milestones, including the establishment of the Heart and Stroke Scientific Research Corporation of Canada. The Junior League of Winnipeg, the Universities Grants Commission and the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities have also benefited from her selfless dedication.
