Guy Vanderhaeghe is one of our most gifted writers. He has portrayed the landscape, atmosphere and spirit of the Prairies in such a way that his award-winning plays and novels transcend his region and his country. Imbued with rich historical detail, his stories feature memorable characters who travel the trading posts of the Canadian wilderness. Visiting professor at Saint Thomas More College, he has actively mentored young and emerging writers. He has also played an important role in celebrating our literature as a member of the New Canadian Library's advisory board.
