A Montrealer living in London, he has long been an authority on Canada's visual history; his own collection of early prints and drawings is of superb quality and scope. Always prepared to share his accumulated knowledge in the field, he has generously assisted museums, archives and heritage projects and is currently a member of a committee for the embellishment of General Wolfe's house in Kent.
