As a lecturer, author and professor emeritus at Victoria College, University of Toronto, and as the first woman president of the Alliance française of that city, she has acted, for over fifty years, as a one-woman revolution, promoting throughout Canada a better knowledge and deeper appreciation of French literature and culture.
