With extensive experience as a mechanical engineer and administrator with the Canadian National Railways, he has recently served as general manager of the Railways Company in Zambia. There, under the auspices of the Canadian International Development Agency, he has helped to make that country's rail system efficient, and in the process enhancing Canada's reputation abroad.
