In the course of her many years of voluntary service she has undertaken fund-raising and building campaigns for a variety of community organizations. These have included the Victoria Day Nursery in Toronto; the women's committees of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the United Appeal; UNICEF, which she brought to Canada in 1955; the Canadian Welfare Council; the International Council of Social Welfare; and the Save the Children Fund.
