Born in Victoria, British Columbia, and now residing in Markham, Ontario, Cliff Thorburn is Canada's pride at the billiard table. His many snooker championships include the Canadian, North American and Australian; he was the first outside the British Isles to win the World Championship and only one of three to score a perfect game in competition. He is prominent in snooker organizations and respected for his unfailing good sportsmanship.
