Rosalind Prober is a tireless volunteer, bringing social justice to children in Canada and abroad. Co-founder and president of Beyond Borders/Au-delà des frontières, she is dedicated to advancing the rights of children and raising public awareness of child sexual exploitation. She also co-founded Cybertip.ca, Canada's national tip line for reporting online abuse. A successful advocate for change, she has worked extensively on legislative reform, including the raising of Canada's age of sexual consent from 14 to 16, and the Prober Amendment, which allows Canadian officials to prosecute Canadians in Canada who have committed child sex tourism crimes overseas. Frequently consulted for her expertise, she continues to monitor cases and to bring important issues to the fore.
