Elmer Hildebrand is committed to putting radio to the service of the community. As head of Golden West Broadcasting, a chain of radio stations in western Canada, he has connected communities, provided jobs, and encouraged local programming and talent. Passionate about propelling the broadcasting industry forward, he has served on provincial and national boards, notably as chair of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters. Public-spirited and generous with his time, he was inducted into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame for his many years of involvement in the sport.
