Conservation biologist and naturalist Clifford Wallis advocates for the preservation, restoration and responsible development of Canada’s most threatened ecosystems. Past president of the Alberta Wilderness Association and chair of the Forest Stewardship Council Canada, he has helped protect Canadian landscapes of national and international significance. Working with First Nations communities on regulatory and land use processes, he strengthens sustainable environmental protection by ensuring Indigenous land rights are recognized.
