Gilles Vincent has been helping us discover the world of plants for over 35 years. At the helm of the Montreal Botanical Garden, he led innovative initiatives, strengthened its educational mission and enhanced the authenticity and accessibility of its exhibitions. He then distinguished himself at the Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden, including by developing its educational program and by positioning it among the great international gardens. As a botanist specializing in phytotechnologies, he uses the absorption capacities of plants to rehabilitate contaminated water and soil in Quebec and Asia, and supports the training of young researchers.
