Major Wyatt was the Senior Liaison Officer of the 3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry Battle Group from March to August 2000. He was in charge of civil/military cooperation with local authorities, as well as with the other heads and principals of the international community in Bosnia-Herzegovina. His performance throughout this period was extraordinary. He was responsible for the equitable distribution of humanitarian and reconstruction aid to several communities of displaced persons and refugees who were otherwise without assistance or hope. Major Wyatt’s unflagging determination and selfless pursuit to improve the plight of the people of Bosnia earned him their respect and trust, as well as that of the associated embassies and non-governmental organizations. His accomplishments have brought great credit to himself, to the Canadian Forces and to Canada.
