Diana Beaupré and Adrian Watkinson created Far From Home, a project that preserves the memory of Canadian Armed Forces members who perished during the First World War and are buried in the United Kingdom. Over the past 10 years, the couple has travelled the country to identify, photograph and record lost or forgotten tombstones of nearly 3 900 servicemen and women. Their meticulous research has inscribed those names onto previously incomplete pages of Canadian military history.
