Myriam Bédard won the Bronze Medal in the 15-km biathlon event at the 1992 Olympic Games in Albertville. This feat is all the more remarkable because it was her first Olympic competition and only her second year on the Canadian senior team. She again demonstrated her indomitable spirit and dedication to the pursuit of excellence through her two Gold Medal performances at the 1994 Olympic Games in Lillehammer.
