Symbolism

Finally, seen as a ring, the circlet denotes commitment to serving others and to Canon Roberts’ dedicated efforts in promoting Canadian unity. The book refers to the power of the Word in Canon Roberts’ life, as a priest, public speaker and one who generates fellowship with his teachings. The cat was chosen by Canon and Mrs. Roberts as a favourite pet. It is also a reference to the motto, as Canon Roberts believes that cats share these qualities with him.
