The pierced heart is based on the main symbol of the traditional Logan arms, and represents Mr. Logan’s adoption of his mother’s surname. The tau cross, in the form of the letter T, represents Mr. Logan’s birth name of Trudeau. The flame evokes the light of learning and thus refers to his role as a teacher, as well as the idea of passion in his motto. The furze is the plant badge of Clan Logan. |
