Symbolism
Blue and white (representing the colour French Grey) are the colours of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. The owl reflects the idea of the Motto, while the white roses are a symbol of York, the original name of Toronto, the location of the regiment. The owl alludes to the badge of the 700 Communication Squadron, while the white roses are taken from that of the 709 Communication Regiment, the two units that amalgamated to form the 32 Signal Regiment.
