The shield of Arms of the City of Regina (Azure a garb Or on a chief Bleu Celeste a buffalo statant Or) within an annulus Azure fimbriated and inscribed in letters Or VIGILIUS GENUS, all within a wreath of maple leaves Or issuant from a western red lily proper, the whole resting on a scroll Azure fimbriated and inscribed in letters Or REGINA POLICE SERVICE, and upon the annulus the Royal Crown proper;

Symbolism

The arms of the City feature a sheaf of wheat and a bison. The Royal Crown symbolizes the fact that the Police Service assists in the administration of the Crown’s justice, while the maple leaves and western red lily refer to Canada and to Saskatchewan.
