Azure on a Canadian pale Argent an escutcheon of the Arms of the Northwest Territories;

Symbolism

The blue represents the lakes and waters of the Northwest Territories, while the white symbolizes ice and snow. The placement of the territorial arms on a Canadian pale between two blue panels echoes the design of the National Flag of Canada.
