The vertical stripes symbolize the rich and varied location, size and geographic realities of the provincial and territorial medical regulatory authorities, the members of the Federation. The white triangle reflects the role of the Federation in assembling its members. The rod of Aesculapius is the traditional symbol of medicine. Gold represents the sun, and green creates continuity with the previous emblem of the Federation. |
