Arms of Jason BouzanisBlazonAzure on a fess Argent masoned Azure between three fleeces each suspended from a ribbon Or, a heart Azure; SymbolismThe blue and white colours refer to Mr. Bouzanis’s Greek heritage. The fleeces allude to the name Jason, since the mythical hero of that name had sought out the Golden Fleece. They thus represent the idea of achieving a goal through determined effort. The masonry refers to Mr. Bouzanis’s grandfather, who came to Canada and established a construction business in Ottawa. The heart represents love of life and family. |
CrestBlazonA dragon dormant Azure on a scroll Argent; SymbolismThe dragon is another reference to the classical Jason myth, as the hero defeated a dragon to claim the Golden Fleece. The scroll represents education and its importance to Mr. Bouzanis. |

The pine cones are inspired by the crest and compartment of the arms of the City of Ottawa, and thus refer to the place of residence of Mr. Bouzanis. |
